From One Family to Another | Casey's Creative Kitchens
and Emerald

In February 2020, Casey's Creative Kitchens, a cabinetry design and installation firm based in Southwestern Ontario, took over operations of Emerald Kitchens.

Established in 1978, Casey's is a family company who has built a brand synonymous with quality cabinetry and functional design. With five showrooms in five different cities, Casey's has established themselves as a leader in the Ontario kitchen and bath industry.

In 2019 the owners of Casey's, siblings Christopher, Jennifer and James, had a chance meeting with Wayne Burgess, owner and founder of Emerald Kitchens. Struck by the similarities between the two companies, an immediate kinship developed.

Emerald Kitchens was built on the same family values and focus on functional design that Casey himself had built his company on all those years ago. With Wayne's retirement imminent, it seemed a natural fit for Casey's to assume operations of Emerald, bringing them into the Casey's fold as their sixth showroom and first expansion into the Burlington market.

We at Casey's are incredibly excited to be a part of continuing Wayne's legacy of quality design and top-notch service and meeting the high standards that have been the backbone of Emerald Kitchens 20+ years in business.

Designs

The bottom line of everything we do at Casey’s starts and ends with good design. Casey was a big believer in the philosophy “form follows function” and he built his business with that strong foundation. He believed that if a design didn’t function well, no matter how beautiful it looked, his customers would not be happy with the final product. That design principle has been instilled throughout our organization and our designers are all trained to make sure that they always design “function first”.

Cabinetry

Once you finalize your design, you will then move on to materials and finish selections. Your designer will walk you through all of your options and help you choose the materials that will work best for your lifestyle and personal taste. We are proud to carry a wide range of custom cabinetry from only the finest Canadian cabinet manufacturers. And all of our cabinetry comes with a lifetime warranty, so your purchase is worry-free.

Stone

In 2012, Casey’s opened our own stone fabrication shop to better service our clients. We fabricate and install all types of granite, quartz, marble and porcelain countertops. Our facility is open to everyone – whether you are using our cabinetry team for your new kitchen, or you are simply looking for a new countertop for your existing kitchen or bathroom, we have a wonderful team of professionals who are dedicated to ensuring you get what you are looking for, with the Casey’s brand of excellent service always attached.

We don’t like to brag, but in the case of our design team we think a little bragging is in order. We are proud to have an incredibly talented team of designers who are committed to the principles of functional design that our company was founded on.
